Marvel Avengers event held at Jewel Changi Airport until Aug 13; features 5m

You may not be an Avenger but you can still assemble at the ‘Avengers: Beyond Earths’ Mightiest at Jewel’ event.

Marvel-themed event Avengers: Beyond Earths’ Mightiest at Jewel will feature various installations, including some of the most popular Avengers with 3D installations and interactive displays.

The large-scale event at Jewel Changi Airport will take place from May 26 to Aug 13.

VIsitors can look forward to two installation segments – Avengers Assemble@Shiseido Forest Valley and Avengers Forever @ Canopy Parklife.

Avengers Assemble @Shiseido Forest Valley will feature life-sized photo spots and Marvel-themed displays.

The installation will also feature six Marvel-themed photo spots including two large 3D displays – a 3m high Captain America's Vibranium Shield and a 3.5m high Thor's Mjolnir.

Visitors can measure themselves against The Incredible Hulk in a battle of strength by punching against a strength metre, activate holographic fans to defend from mystical threats like Doctor Strange and pose on the throne at the Black Panther display.

The second segment of the event, Avengers Forever @ Canopy Park, aims to pay homage to 60 years of Avengers.

The display features key milestones of the Avengers from comic books to television, toys and movies including a variety of major Marvel titles such as the Contest of Champions, Secret Wars and Infinity Gauntlet, conflicts with X-Men and the Defenders and Eternals.

Visitors can also look forward to immersive installations that chronicle the rich history of the Avengers’ timeline from the introduction of Captain America in 1941 to the formation of the Avengers in 1963.

The Petal Garden will feature life-sized displays of iconic Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as Ant-Man and The Wasp, Black Panther, Captain America and Iron Man.

At the Marvel-inspired light and sound showcase, fans can marvel at a stunning display of Avengers water projections at the HSBC Rain Vortex – the world's tallest indoor waterfall.

The light and sound showcase will run from May 26 to Aug 13 at 8pm on weekdays and 8pm as well as 10pm on weekends.

Visitors who snap any images with the Avengers-themed photo frame and post them on social media, follow Jewel on Facebook and Instagram and present a same-day receipt of S$100 nett (paid with Mastercard) at the Level 1 Jewel Concierge will receive a $5 tenant voucher.

Changi Pay (Changi Airport's e-wallet) users can also receive an additional S$2 Changi Pay eVoucher with a minimum nett spend of S$100 at Jewel.

In collaboration with Capitastar app, visitors can collect six Avengers: Beyond Earth's Mightiest at Jewel stamps on the app when they shop and dine at Jewel and earn bonus STAR$.

When six tasks are completed, shoppers and diners can earn these stamps which entitle them to additional 25,000 STAR$ (equivalent to S$25).

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Avengers, a special, limited print of The Avengers #1 (2023) featuring a custom cover of the Avengers against the backdrop of Jewel drawn by Singaporean artist Gary Choo will be available.

Marvel-themed merchandise like toys, stationery, apparel and figurines will be available for purchase at The Wonder Store at Basement 1. Visitors can also look forward to gift-with-purchase promotions at an Action City pop-up, located next to the Concierge Counter at Level 2.
